Chapter 1. Basic Operation
Directory Operating Procedure
A directory is a set of records grouped together. In general, it is used as a table in which all the information belonging to that category is listed out.
Key Operations
[UP]Moves the highlight bar up
[DN]Moves the highlight bar down
[INS] Displays a blank form, which allows new data to be entered into the table.
[DEL] Deletes the highlighted record
[ENTER] Modifies the highlighted record.
[CTRL][C] Creates a new record by copying data from the highlighted record.
[F2] Repeat insertion key. Same as [INS] key except that another blank form will be automatically displayed when you complete the insertion. The repeat insertion will be stopped if you press [ESC] to abort the insertion.
[F8] Change display sequence key. This will have no effect if there is only one display sequence of the table. However, when there is more than one display sequence, you will find an inverted triangle above the category list, indicating the current display sequence. The position of the inverted triangle can be changed by pressing [F8], thus changing to the desired display sequence.
