 •  Field Editing Procedure

A Field is ready for data entry if it is highlighted.

Key Operations

[ENTER] Moves to the next field

[ESC] Moves to the previous field or returns to the previous window without saving the record if the cursor are at the first field.

[<] Moves the cursor one position to the left, stopping at the left-hand boundary

[>] Moves the cursor one position to the right, stopping at the right-hand boundary.

[END] Moves the cursor to the last character on the current field.

[HOME] Moves the cursor to the first character on the current field

[CTRL][END] Deletes the characters from the cursor to the end of the field. The cursor remains in the same position.

[CTRL][HOME] Deletes all the characters on the current field with the cursor returned to the first character

[INS] Toggles between insert mode and overwrite mode.(Insert mode is indicated by a small block cursor; overwrite mode is indicated by an under-score cursor.)

[DEL] Deletes the character at the cursor and moves the rest of the field one position to the left

[<-]Deletes the character to the left of the cursor, and moves the cursor one position to the left. In insert mode, press (Backspace) to delete the character to the left of the cursor, and moves the rest of the field one position to the left.
